Stanislaw Zaborniak, a well-known researcher and historian of the history of Polish athletics, in this book presented the development of women's sports walking in Poland. The author himself was a competitor in this competition in the past in the colors of the Resovia club, and then as a coach he trained the leading walkers in Poland in the years 1970-1978. Thanks to this experience, he was able to effectively and comprehensively show the evolution of women's race walking in Poland. The book contains not only texts with a lot of interesting information and archival photos, but also many tables and statistical summaries with results.
