General Motors startte in 1925 in Antwerpen met de productie van de eerste Chevrolets Omega Six. Tot het uitbreken van WO II werden er uitsluitend Chevy's gebouwd, met uitzondering van de Opel Olympia. Na de oorlog herbegon de productie in 1949 met de Chevrolet Deluxe. Vanaf 1968 werden alleen nog Opelmodellen geassembleerd, naast Vauxhalls voor de Britse markt en in 2008 de Saturn voor de VS. Na de Kadett volgden de Manta, Ascona, Vectra en de verschillende generaties van de Astra.

General Motors began producing the first Chevrolet Omega Six in Antwerp in 1925. Until the outbreak of World War II, only Chevys were built there, with the exception of the Opel Olympia. After the war, production resumed in 1949 with the Chevrolet Deluxe. From 1968 onward, only Opel models were assembled, along with Vauxhalls for the British market and, in 2008, the Saturn for the US. The Kadett was followed by the Manta, Ascona, Vectra, and various generations of the Astra.
