Er zijn echter schuldeisers die achter Jules Duroc zijn bezittingen aan zitten. Jules springt zelf dan maar op de fiets om aan de achtervolgers te ontkomen. Tegelijkertijd belandt hij per ongeluk zelf in de wedstrijd. Bourvil op zijn best!

Comedy where an ingenious inventor Jules Duroc (Bourvil) designs a special revolutionary bicycle for his brother-in-law (Patrick Préjean) who wants to participate in the Paris-San Remo cycling race. However, there are creditors who are after Jules Duroc's assets. Jules jumps on his bike himself to escape the pursuers. At the same time, he accidentally ends up in the race himself.
