Milena Morena Tartagni as a child wanted to do the "corridora" and dreamed of following in the footsteps of Alfonsina Strada on her bicycle. She was the first Azzurri athlete to be on the podium of the 1968 cycling world championships in Imola, she set the world record for 3 km on the track at the Velodromo in Rome, won two silver medals at the world championships in Leicester and Mendrisio and won 10 Italian titles on the road and on the track. With courage and determination, in heroic and difficult times for women's cycling, she has collected 100 victories. Dismounting from the bike, he has covered important roles in the Italian Cycling Federation and has been assessor for sport and all youth policies in the municipality of Senago. The story of Morena has become a book also thanks to a promise made to Paola, her life partner, to whom the sweet memory is dedicated.
